
The Femundlopet award ceremony was even a little longer than usually, because of the IFSS World Championship presentations, also for pure breed teams. And because of
Nikolai Ettyne from Chukotka, the very east of Siberia, Russia, Asia. Nikolai had a big bag full of presents with him. Arild Eidsvold (IFSS), Petter Swift & Kristin Aasheim (Femundlopet) got T-shirts, watches, baseball caps and other souvenirs from Siberia. A nice and authentic gesture from the musher with the longest way to Røros.

One of the dogs got frightened by the photographer and jumped to the other side. At least this is was Nikolai thought and was displeased. The photographer took the chance to stand on the sled and took a picture from Nikolai's stress ...
